Here is a live recording of me and pianist Kamilla Bystrova playing my all time favorite theremin transcription, Rachmaninoff's 'Vocalise'! Originally written for voice this in my opinion is one of the most beautiful melodies written in Classical music, I hope you enjoy 🙂

Here is the premiere recording of 'Bury me, bury me wind' for voice, theremin and piano. The lyrics are by Russian poet Anna Achmatova, and the beautiful, dark music was written in 1929 by Joseph Schillinger. I am very happy I got to record this premiere recording with two marvelous colleagues, mezzo soprano Itzel Medecigo and pianist Kamilla Bystrova, enjoy :-) theremin - Thorwald Jørgensen mezzo soprano - Itzel Medecigo piano - Kamilla Bystrova audio - Doris Veldman audio - Floris Voogt video - Pieter Teekens Recorded at the Uilenburger Synagogue, Amsterdam - Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/thorwaldtheremin/ Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/thjorgensen/ Twitter: https://twitter.com/thjorgensen Website: http://www.thorwaldjorgensen.com
