Whiskie

In the April 2026 seventh-anniversary edition of the Theremin 30 podcast, host Rick Reid presents new and recent music by L’Exotighost, Kepa Lehtinen, Timeless Sonic Factory, and Norman Freund, along with a calendar of upcoming theremin events. The featured interview is with Milwaukee performance duo the Hissy Kits, whose members Whiskie and Scotch combine theremin, piano, vocals, jazz standards, cat-themed humor, and “feline expressionism.” They discuss the group’s origins, collaborative songwriting, an audition for America’s Got Talent, and a forthcoming collection of patriotic songs for the United States’ 250th anniversary.
