Thorwald Jorgensen

In the November 2024 edition of the Theremin 30 podcast, host Rick Reid presents new music by Annaglyph, Kepa Lehtinen, and Charlotte Dubois, along with a calendar of upcoming theremin events. The featured interview is with classical thereminist Thorwald Jørgensen about his album Nuit Exotique, which adapts chamber works originally written for other instruments. Jørgensen discusses selecting and rehearsing the repertoire with pianist Kamilla Bystrova, recording their performances live in a concert hall, developing personal interpretations with guidance from a musical coach, and preserving the energy of a live recital.
