Shueh-li Ong

In the July 2024 edition of the Theremin 30 podcast, host Rick Reid presents new theremin music from Veronik, Overlanders featuring Wilco Botermans, and Kepa Lehtinen, along with a calendar of upcoming events. The featured interview is with multi-instrumentalist Shueh-Li Ong about her fifth studio album, Misoriented Metaphor. Ong discusses developing the project as a concerto-like work for theremin, synthesizer, tin whistle, and guest musicians, testing the pieces in live performance, collaborating remotely, and releasing the album through interactive livestream events.
