David Levi

In the May 2023 season premiere of the Theremin 30 podcast, host Rick Reid presents music by Thorwald Jørgensen with Sébastien LaFleur, Monelise, Veronik, and Lorenzo Di Marcantonio with Rocco Saviano, along with theremin news and upcoming events. The featured interview is with electronic designer David Levi, creator of the MicroKits theremin circuit-building kit for children. Levi discusses how the theremin inspired his career in electronics and toy design, how he turned a layoff into an opportunity to launch his business, and how the solder-free kit introduces young people to science, technology, engineering, art, mathematics, and electronic music.
